"'... At last we will have revenge.'"
"A few friends tagged me last week on Instagram as part of a 'close up' challenge. I’m a bit late to the game here, but I was definitely inspired to give it a try!"
"I decided to try and get up close to my 12” Darth Maul figure from Hottoys and just really showcase the intensity within his eyes. I was able to get super close on my desktop using my Platypod eXtreme and Platyball Ergo! I opted for using the new Godox SL150R in a softbox as my key light. I also had an idea to add a Godox TL30 Tube light, not only to add a red cast and glow to his face, but sure enough, the figure's eyes reflected the tube light, making a nice little 'reflection' of an off camera lightsaber simulation. It totally worked!"
"In Photoshop, I spent some time removing most dust and imperfections, added some stars to the background (that you may not see depending on the final crop I share), and finished it off in Lightroom with some additional edits, color grade, and final crop."
