Kickstarter Reviews

Working with the Elite requires a different want of thinking but after a couple of days of working with it, I'm seriously thinking about getting a second unit.

JOHN A.

I'm super happy with it, it's solid and the two buttons are really intuitive.

GWENAEIL F.

Just received my Platyball Elite in Sydney, Australia. What an impressive end result! Eveything from the unboxing, to the instructions, to the accessories, and the amazing engineering of the Platyball itself is really world-class.

MARK S.

Super easy to use. A bit heavier than I expected but the build quality is exceptional. A long wait to get it but well worth it. Thanks to Larry & his team for the job well done. The videos were super useful in learning to use the ballhead as well.

MURALI M.

Am very impressed with the unit. I have both Platypods and the Platyball feels and looks like everything they make, solid and well-done. Packaged very well, looks and feels solid. Using it is a breeze. I watched the instructional video on their website before I tried it. The only thing that is not obvious is the locking and release of the camera plate. Watching the videos and a few minutes of using it helped me get used to all the controls.

RAMESH M.

Well worth the wait, the build quality is very high and the feel is solid. I have the Fire Engine Red Elite version. love the electronic leveler, and that it came with a "real" battery, not some Chinese knockoff that'll need changing in a week.

ZDRAVKO G.

I’m glad more and more people are getting the Platyball in their hands! It’s such a great tool, I never realized just how often I would use it and my Platypods together.

LIAM T.

Got my Platyball a week ago . Slight learning curve like anything new and different. Gettting ready to sell my old ballheads. Great job. Worth the wait.
