Platypod for Extremely low angles

I’ve always loved toys. My most favorite have been all types of trucks and heavy equipment. I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to spend a portion of the past 40 years working with clients that build fire trucks.

Last summer, one of them requested to have their trucks photographed from an extremely low angle for their 2022 product calendar. I had the perfect tool in my case for the task – the Platypod. I used a small ball head to mount my camera and tethered it to my laptop.

The shots were great, the client was happy, and I was getting paid to play with very large toys.
