"One last horror themed project to finish out the month of October. This was actually the FIRST themed photo I took back at the beginning of the month, but I liked it so much that I decided I’d save it for last. For Halloween."
"This is the sixth scale (12”) “Halloween Kills“ version of Michael Myers from Trick or Treat Studios. Setup on a tabletop with two lights and a reflector. A Godox AD200 in a strip box in front as my key light, and a
second one laying flat on the table behind Michael with an orange gel to provide the backlight from the fire I would later add in post. Sprayed some Atmosphere Aerosol smoke and took some photos."
"In post, I blended two images together to get the right amount of smoke and light on the face. I used Boris FX Optics to generate some Fire elements and lens flares. Some additional effects in Photoshop, then finished it all up back in Lightroom with a few more touchups and color grading."
"I'm really happy with how this one turned out. I had an absolute blast with the horror theme this October, but I’m looking forward to getting back to some other franchises again. I hope that you all had a very Happy Halloween!"
